The Schladming-Dachstein Region offers endless options for ski tours. Just the Dachstein is the starting point for altogether 16 ski tours, crossings, and steep descents.

The Dachstein crossing, Austria’s national ski tour number one, also starts at the Dachstein Glacier. The crossing leads on a 25km trail from the top area of the Dachstein across the Simonyhütte and Gjaidalm down to the 2,000m sea levels lower Hallstätter Lake.
Numerous ski tours can also get started from the Ramsauer plateau or the nature park “Sölktäler”. You will get some insider tips at the local ski schools and mountain leaders.
