The Dachstein is one of the most visited excursion destinations in Styria. No wonder - it is the first glacier in the Alps from the east. Even the ascent with the Dachstein-Panorama Glacier Cable Car is an experience: you overcome 1,000 meters in altitude and float close up past steep rock faces. When you arrive at 2,700 meters above sea level, you can look out on a fantastic panorama with hundreds of mountain peaks.

An “energy crystal” with a special feel-good ambience and fascinating innovations. On the outside, it impresses with a photovoltaic glass facade, thanks to which the new mountain station is up to 80% energy self-sufficient. The centerpiece, however, is the brand new glacier restaurant with a 380-degree view, including a spacious outdoor terrace.
