On the medium-sized hikes in the Schladming-Dachstein region, you will experience scenic delights that will please your eyes and soul! Wide alpine pastures, panoramic peaks, mountain lakes and high moors, cozy huts and large waterfalls are part of this hiking pleasure.
- Jungfrauensteig
Ramsau, 3:30 hours, 8 km, 380 meters in altitude
A steep ascent leads from Gasthaus Edelbrunn up to the "Steinerne Jungfrauen", bizarre rock formations made of conglomerate rock. The path turns to rocks below the Gamsfeld and back via Brandriedel or Brandalm to the starting point.
- Kufstein
Haus im Ennstal, 6:30 hours, 16 km, 1500 meters in altitude
From Weißenbach over the Stornalm the path leads to the summit of the Kufstein. A wonderful panoramic view is guaranteed. The way back runs back over the Grafenbergalm, Stornalm and to the starting point.
- Stoderzinken 2,048 m and Friedenskircherl
Gröbming, 2:00 hours, 4.4 km, 257 meters in altitude
Even the drive up the Stoderzinken Alpine Road is an experience. Once at the top, you hike to the Peter Rosegger monument, the Friedenskircherl or the summit. For the brave, the zipline takes you back to the valley.
- Moaralm round
Ramsau am Dachstein, 3:00 hours, 10.1 km, 687 meters in altitude
Marmots can be seen on the Almrundweg Bachlalm, Schaidlalm, Maralm, Neustattalm and Glösalm. The starting point is the Dachsteinruhe car park on the Styria and Salzburg border.
- Hauser Kaibling 2,015 m
Haus im Ennstal, 2:00 hours, 4.5 km, 230 meters in altitude
From the Tauern cable car mountain station on Hauser Kaibling, the path leads directly to the summit cross. On the ridge, you continue to the Rossfeldsattel, Kaiblingalm and return to the mountain station via a forest path.
